When I pull a bag from a roll it rips. Why?
Our bags have a certain composition which causes a form of stiffness in the bag. This is part of the moisture and odor protection parts of the bag. You do not want to pull the bag away from the perforated seam as tearing may occur. Instead, you want to pull up from the seam gently. This will help in preventing rips and tears. See a video here.
What moisture does my hemp need to be stored in the bags?
To avoid mold, we recommend the hemp be between 4% to 16% moisture before storing long term in our bags. Boveda packs also help with moisture control inside the bags but no moisture will get in the bag once sealed. Please click here for Boveda's website.
Can you store hemp in the bags when it is wet?
Yes. but we do not recommend you do it for long due to mold growing in the product.

We recommend using re-usable wire ties during the burping/curing process and regular wire ties for permanent storage. You may also heat seal our bags as well.

Yes. Our hempsac bags may be used with FIBC bags as a liner on the inside for flower and we recommend using the hempsac on the outside of the FIBC bag for biomass containing stems/branches. Either way, hempsacs will help reduce the odor and protect from oxygen and humidity damaging your product.

Yes. Our bags help mask the odor of hemp when transporting it. Truck drivers who have transported our hemp love our bags because they do not have to "air-out" their trailers before transporting other goods and some have transported other goods with a partial load of hemp with no residual odor getting onto other products.
I love your product. Can I send pictures of my hemp inside hempsacs?
